South Padre Island is the simplest of the three Maniac cities. There's one road, one main venue, and one week that all of Texas shows up for. In 2027 it's still the most affordable way to do a real spring break, no flight required for most of the state, no passport, and a beach bar built for exactly this.

Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Aoki, BigXtheplug and Tiësto all played the beach stage in March 2026, free with VIP. 2027 is announced in January.
Some South Padre hotels and Airbnbs require guests to be 21+, or run noise rules strict enough to get a group evicted on night one. Booking blind is how people end up on Padre Blvd at 2am with nowhere to go.
Per person, for the March 13–20 week, split four to a room. South Padre runs lower than PCB or Fort Lauderdale on rooms; the card keeps the rest down too.

Yes. Clayton's and the Maniac VIP card are open to 18+, though you'll need to be 21 to drink alcohol inside most venues.
Plan on $550 to $1,400 or more per person for the week, depending on your room split and how much you spend beyond the card. The Maniac card is the one line item that doesn't go up if you go out every night.
